Extracorporeal Shockwave Treatment for Heel Pain
Pain in the heels and arches is such a pervasive complaint in our
clinic that in 1995 we established specific protocol, based on the best
available research, to address the needs of patients suffering from pain
in their heels and arches. The establishment of these protocol was
prompted by the realization that vast numbers of people suffer with heel
and arch complaints for months, and even years, without relief. This was
particularly frustrating in light of the fact that most heel and arch
pain responds readily to a properly prescribed conservative treatment
plan.
Anyone suffering from heel or arch pain is a candidate for the Foot
and Ankle Center Heel and Arch Pain Protocol. Several specialized
protocol have been established for patients with special needs. These
include:
- Athletes
- Arthritis patients
- Pregnancy related heel and arch pain
- Patients with previous treatment failure: Surgical or
Conservative
Our goal is to provide long-term relief of heel and arch pain in the
most conservative manner possible.
Drs Hale and Huppin are uniquely qualified to help you relieve your
