Dr. Kashani was born in Tehran and immigrated to the U.S. at a young age. He attended Virginia Tech University in Blacksburg, VA, where he obtained his BS in Biology and graduated with highest honors (Summa Cum Laude).

He went on to obtain his Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine where he graduated as the valedictorian of his class.

Dr. Kashani then completed an elite foot and ankle surgery residency program at the Swedish Medical Center in Seattle where he served as chief resident. During his time at Swedish, he had direct training from some of the best podiatric and orthopedic foot and ankle surgeons in the Pacific Northwest.

He has lectured and presented posters and research on foot and ankle surgical correction at multiple national conferences. He also remains involved with educating the next generation of foot and ankle surgeons through the Swedish Foot and Ankle Surgery residency program.

Dr. Kashani highly values conservative management, and his practice philosophy is that surgical intervention should be the absolute last resort when treating foot and ankle conditions. His evidence-based and patient-centered approach in addition to his clinical expertise enable him to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.

Dr. Kashani and his wife live in Redmond, WA. In his free time, he enjoys reading, swimming, watching documentaries and spending time with his family.
